Fundraising Opportunity

Hello Everyone, 

 

This month my Squad and I are partnering with an organization called Light & Salt Ministries here in Nicaragua. Light & Salt has a vision and mission to teach, equip and empower families to break cycles of generational poverty. 

 

My role this month is to partner with the teachers here to assist in teaching and educating in their boy’s reformation school program. It’s so fun to be teaching somewhere new! I am excited to see how education and learning can be different yet similar in areas around the world. As I am teaching them English, they are teaching me Spanish!

 

I am hoping you will join us in ministry this month. I am fundraising from now until October 10th to help purchase classroom supplies and books for the program. You can donate by sending a cash or check donation to my home church, Christ Community Fellowship of Madison, Maine or via Venmo at @savannakandiko. 

 

Additionally, I’d love for you to check out more about Light & Salt Ministries. My goal is to bring awareness, prayer and financial support to what they’re doing as I am very passionate about their vision. It is one that I believe is very near and dear to our hearts back home. Beyond the Boys’ program, Light & Salt has a Mercy care program, and is currently building a church on location.
