What are you looking for in 2021? Are you looking for a new job, a new place to live, or a new hobby? Are you looking for someone to love, somewhere to travel or something new to experience? Are you looking for financial peace, more confidence, or freedom from something reigning in your life? 

I am. I am looking for freedom. Freedom from worry. Freedom from clutter. Freedom from fear. Freedom from the things I hold so tightly, so that I can experience more, experience deeper and experience life at my fullest capacity. I don’t want to miss opportunities to speak encouragement to a friend because I’m too focused on my phone or my own thoughts to have real conversations. I don’t want to miss opportunities to donate money or give my time to a cause because I “need” to go buy a new shirt at TJMAXX. I don’t want to miss an opportunity to pursue my greatest passions because of fear or the comfort of my current situation.

If 2020 taught me one thing, it’s that we only get one life. We do not have a do-over waiting for us when we pass on. We have eternity in Heaven or Hell. We only get this one chance at living on Earth. So why not live it intentionally, intentionally free from the things that hold us back? Why not pursue our greatest dreams, our greatest opportunities? 

My goal for 2021 is to do just that without having to worry about the stuff and things of my life. Without having to process through the pros and cons of fear when I ultimately know and trust my heart’s desires. I plan to break the bondages of my mindset that say my dreams are too lofty to achieve. I plan to challenge myself to give more time and more financial support to causes I believe in and that I am passionate about. I plan to train myself to leave my phone alone when I am trying to be more productive, engaged or involved. I plan to look for ways to become more free from the nuances of life, to live in victory, my fullest, most intentional life.
