Ecuador Ministry Recap:

(Team Bloom at the Equator Visitor Center)

This month we have partnered with IncaLink, Ecuador for ministry. IncaLink is a ministry with many different connections and locations. IncaLink works as a connector for missionaries and ministries to create partnerships throughout multiple South American countries. Here in Ecuador, they partner with:

Bonsai - https://bonsai-ecuador.org/

Casa Blanca - https://www.incalink.org/casablanca/

Casa Elizabeth - https://www.incalink.org/ministries/casa-elizabeth/

Cumbre Alta - https://www.incalink.org/ministries/cumbre-alta/

Ninawachi - https://www.incalink.org/ministries/ninawachi/

Ninawachi Graduate Missionaries - https://www.incalink.org/ministries/ninawachi-graduate-missionaries/

Portoviejo 7.8 - https://www.incalink.org/ministries/ministriesportoviejo78/

 El Hormiguero - https://www.incalink.org/hormiguero/

And are constantly connecting ministries to be helpful hands and feet for these ministries.

For Team Bloom, we have partnered with Camp Hope to help with fundraising projects and facility cleanup. Camp Hope works directly with the local mentally and physically handicap population in order to provide care, physical therapy and community programming. We’ve made a lot of Christmas crafts which will be sold in order to increase the finances of the ministry. We’ve cleaned nearly every nook and cranny of the facilities and grounds. We spent many hours sweeping, mopping and dusting surfaces. We also completed yard clean-up for their playground area.

Although this month didn’t allow us to build as many relationships as we may have anticipated, it did allow us to make a physical impact on this ministry. One day when we were cleaning the weeds from the sidewalk, our ministry workmate, Sylvia, told us it usually takes three whole days to complete this task. That day it took us just over 2 hours to complete the same amount of work. Not only were we able to support Sylvia and the staff of Camp Hope through cleaning and upkeep, we were able to connect with Uber drivers and others we met throughout our time spent in Ecuador.

My dear friends, supporters and family, I want to reiterate how treasuring it is to represent you and of course, Christ on this journey. Lives are being touched, encouraged and changed because of your financial giving, prayers and words of encouragement. Though the needs are many, blessings abound as we go forth and serve others. Soon we will be moving on from here and heading to South Africa. I’ll update you all more on that later

Lots & lots of love,

                   Savanna & L Squad

We also had a Team Bloom Christmas party this month! We will be switching up the teams of our Squad this month so that's a wrap for Team Bloom! I'll update you more on my new team later!
